PORTABLE SEDIMENT TANKS

These are specially designed systems that are used to lower the NTU level of pumped storm water. The portable sediment tanks are designed and built to be able to mix different types of polymers for different soil types for a faster flocculating time. These units are complete self-contained systems that are ready from the moment they are set up. They can be maneuvered by roll off trucks, large fork lifts, cranes, etc. The systems are designed to be used in dewatering, polishing off an existing retention/detention pond, spill clean ups, clearing up dirty ponds, sludge storage, and areas where building a pond is not possible. The sludge that is extracted from the storm water is contained in the tank and can be removed from the site. We offer rentals, leases, and maintenance of these systems.

HYDROSEEDING

PEC offers hydroseeding and have the capability to plant any seed mix requested. We currently have two hydroseeders so we can handle projects of all sizes. Our large machine is a Finn T-330 to tackle the larger scale projects. We are experts in using the spray-on erosion control blankets. We have had exceptional results with using these types of products while saving our clients money.

EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS

PEC installs a wide variety and types of erosion control blankets and netting. Putman Erosion Control is one of the very few companies in the U.S. that owns the Autoblanket, erosion control blanket installation device. By utilizing this machine it allows us to install acres of blankets per day, while keeping costs down for our clients. We also have perfected the netless spray-on erosion control blanket method. SILT FENCE

PEC installs all different types of silt fences. The Enfencer is a mechanical device that we at Putman Erosion Control designed and have patented. This device allows us to install thousands of feet of wire backed or non-wire backed silt fence per day. Installing silt fence with this device ensures the material is embedded into the ground at the proper depth with minimal soil disturbance. We have a specially designed unit that removes the silt fence from the ground and rolls it up for removal at the end of the job as well.

PEC has a rubber track sod installation machines to install the big rolls of sod. With the use of these machines we can install 1-2 acres of sod per day. We have installed sod on athletic fields, Row’s, airports, golf courses, etc.
